JOHN Foley is quite entitled to his belief in an 1892 Act of Parliament which like so many other traditions should have been abolished years ago, as they serve no useful purpose in the 21st century.

Set-ups like the unelected House of Lords for example, a grace and favour establishment. I suppose John Foley considers they too are “well worth the money”.

That aside I did not appreciate his personal remarks about my background. He is quite entitled to do the job he is currently doing, so long as he remembers that being a parish councillor does not give him the right to make personal remarks about one of his parish constituents.
