To whom it may concern, and judging from what I saw the other morning, it concerns quite a lot of people, I went for a walk in the Nalgo fields, saw some blackberries and went to pick a few.

Big mistake; someone had let their dog or dogs do their business and walked on, not just once but judging by the amount that was round the field, quite a few times.

This isn’t the first time either, it happens all the time. People walk on, let their dogs do whatever they want and don’t bother picking up the mess. This is a private field; there is a sign that states ‘Trespassers will be prosecuted’. And if you let your dog litter and don’t pick it up there is also a heavy fine for those who are caught.

If you don’t want to pick up after your dogs, don’t have one, or keep it in the garden.

It’s the football season again, just think if it was your son or grandson having to go and get the ball only to be covered in what your dog has left behind because you were too lazy to pick it up and take it home and put it in the bin.
