We are living in changing times. The economic and political crisis; the permanent wars; climate change and human suffering are signs of changing times.
The ruling classes have failed to halt wars and environmental crisis. Indigenous people of Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela and Nicaragua have been fighting for the environmental rights while countries like America, Canada, Sweden, Holland, Denmark, Norway, France and Britain rule out any effort to protect our ecosystem which human lives are dependent on.
It is not only for the governments of affluent countries which are blamed on the environmental crisis, but also we the people who drive cars or use aeroplanes to travel. Are our journeys really necessary? Can we not cycle to work?
We ought to do whatever we individually can to protect our environment which is already dying.
We are facing climate crisis. It is a serious crisis. After all, our lives are dependent on a healthy environment.
If we continue on the path we are taking now, the human species will be in peril. There will be no next generation.
