I wonder if the people in charge at Thamesdown buses realise the hardship they have imposed on the many elderly residents that live in the Westcott Place area by re-routing the buses along Church Place?
While I can understand the buses that used to go up Park Lane may have caused traffic congestion at peak times, surely they could have left at least one bus route.
It’s no problem walking into town, but walking back with heavy bags of shopping will be too much for some, especially in winter. Can common sense not prevail to give us at least one bus route?
