Many times in the Adver the headline infers various perpetrators “face jail”for their misdemeanours. Facts prove that indeed some do, but for far too many cases this statement does not prove correct.
Most cases involve stealing objects, stealing money, cheating vulnerable people and organisations out of thousands of pounds, especially by conniving women (as such is the story currently unfolding). We always find they get away with a slap on the wrist, meagre fine or a community order, which lets them off from having to pay back the vast amounts stolen.
Their smirking faces when they leave court and photographed bear witness to this. When will these people actually get what they and their victims deserve?
