On behalf of President David Coe and the members of the Rotary Club of Swindon Phoenix, I would like to thank all those people who attended our first Sporting Dinner at the Marriott Hotel on Saturday 11 October.
We were all richly entertained by Gareth Edwards MBE, comedian Adgar Brown and our compere Phil King.
A big thank you to all the Swindon businesses and individuals who supported the event with auction and raffle prizes.
In total, the evening raised just over £5,000 which will be split between The Swindon Down Syndrome Group and Swindon Guide Dogs. Many thanks for everyone’s support.
