Swindon is being cut in two. Swindon must learn to live as two separate regions until these totally unnecessary road works are completed.
The Greenbridge area will face horrendous congestion, with the long-term closure of the bridge over the railway in Swindon Road.
Driving in Swindon is a nightmare at the moment, and things can only get worse when the work gets underway redeveloping the roundabout at Bruce Street Bridges.
The effect of these two road works is to effectively cut North Swindon off from South Swindon.
This means that the chaos in Swindon will last at least six months, maybe more.
There is an election in May 2015 when the voters can decide if they approve of these totally bizarre decisions made by Swindon Council.
