Living in Hope
Re Bill Williams’ letter of 8 December, “It could be a big surprise”, he was quoting the famous comedian Bob Hope.
The other two well known jokes from Bob were, “I left England at a very early age, because they wouldn’t let me be king”, and “There’ll always be an England so long as America can afford it”.
