So we have one female go into a well known High Street store to feed her baby (breastfeed).
She is politely requested to cover up discreetly (with a cover) and lo and behold an issue is created reaching national coverage and even a ‘sit down’ outside the said establishment.
This is the British Isles, with regard to our way of life, and should not be cowed by a female faced by a simple request to conform to simple decency.
I suppose today’s PC answer would be it is the 21st century. God, that phrase has got a lot to answer for when certain minority groups and others jump on this particular bandwagon.
There are plenty of quiet and discreet areas any mother can go to if the need to feed the infant is required, not in the places that can, and obviously do, cause a public embarrassment.
