I read about the appalling demise of a number of cats in particular areas.

Appalling though it is, one can perhaps realise the frustration of having ones garden and flower beds constantly covered in cat (or dog) excrement. It's foul, and as it is mostly partly buried, when one is weeding and thinning around the flowers it is a horrible and stinking experience.

A well known fact is that a cat will never do its business on its own premises, always someone else’s.

However, there are many cat repellent products on the market, so there is no excuse for such drastic and inhumane measures.
