In his letter of 9 March Mr Bahjad vilifies the book and movie 50 Shades of Grey. Of course the book and film is a load of rubbish, but Mr Bahjad it seems takes it very seriously.
I suggest he reads the preceding letter written by A Curtis, not just once, but over and over again. His fellow Muslims treat women far more horrifically than any titillating film or book could ever depict. The Koran, which he constantly refers to and defends, also condone the ways that Muslims treat their women and wives.
It is no coincidence that the Boko Harum group (who have recently allied themselves to the so called Islamic State) have as their emblem the Koran, above a pair of crossed rifles with the IS flag as the background. Their treatment of the young schoolgirls they kidnapped and abused does not bear thinking about.
I suggest the next time Mr Bahjad has any sympathies with the way the fairer sex are treated, he should take a long hard look at his own ‘religious’ convictions.
