MR J ADAMS’ letters demonstrate his lack of knowledge about Islam and logic. For example, in his last letters he wrote Muslims were superior to non-Muslims and did not support his position in his first letter; the second letter he wrote about the Sharia law demonstrated he didn’t know what he was talking about.
His letters affirm a policy of copy and paste. His letter on Sharia was plagiarised from Melanie Philips. I know that because her article is identical to sections of his letter.
In response to his first letter, I cited the last sermon of the Prophet Mohammed; in the second letter, I quoted the former Bishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams.
I must say that I was disappointed by his replies. I was expecting him to address these two points — namely, Sharia law and ‘superiority’ — and prove me wrong. Yet he changed the topics!
Writing for several papers doesn’t mean Melanie is knowledgeable about theology. A journalist isn’t a theologian. She admits she didn’t open any Islamic literature in her entire life, but she’s been writing about a subject she did not study. That is anti-intellectual.
In her articles, she spreads her hate-filled views on Islam and Muslims. Anders Behring Breivik, who massacred 77 innocent people in Norway in 2011, said he got his inspiration from Melanie’s articles.
