WE are a first aid training centre with a link with the British Heart Foundation and we run a two-hour first aid course on what to do if someone has a heart attack.
The course demonstrates what actions you should take in the event of you witnessing someone having serious chest pains or some of the other signs and symptoms that are taught on the course.
Immediate action by a skilled first aider could be life saving for the casualty.
According to the latest figures issued by the British Heart Foundation 140,000 people suffer a heart attack every year.
The second course we offer free of charge is our very popular baby and child emergency first aid course. The course demonstrates resuscitation on babies and children.
Both courses are on a Saturday morning are as follows: Heartstart July 4, 9-11am; September 5, 9-11am.
Baby and child emergency first aid June 6, 9-11am; August 15, 9-11am; October 17, 9-11am.
Please confirm your booking by telephoning (01225) 833140. Both courses are free.
