STEVE Thompson (Adver letters, June 20) is right to draw our attention to the plight of the homeless in Britain.

In this day and age it should be the right of every free born Englishman to have a decent job and a decent place to live.

British people have the right to expect the government of the day to look after the British working class, whether it be Tory or Labour.

I have a dream that one day all young people will have a decent home to raise their family, whether they be rich or poor, black or white.

Poor people need hope for the future. During the 1960s there was a golden age when everyone had hope for a bright future.

Then in 1973 we opened our borders to the EU. Unemployment in Britain immediately rocketed and houses became scarce and expensive.

The voters of Britain have seriously let down our young people.

Under both Labour and Tory governments, all hope for the future is gone for the 2015 young generation in Britain.
