Grass soup for tea
NOW that our council has imposed a charge for collecting garden waste, I expect that thousands of green wheelie bins will lie unused.
However, the opening hours of the household waste recycling centres will also soon be significantly reduced.
It appears our council is introducing a cunning plan to encourage taxpayers to eat their garden waste. Anyone for a bowl of grass soup and a cup of willow leaf tea?
