YOUR article “Summer holiday reading dip averted by Macarena” reminded me of my shock at witnessing what I took to be the library’s manager browbeating unwilling staff into participation in this flash mob.
Who thought this was clever? The only thing more outdated than a flash mob (or even 1995s Macarena), would be this demonstration of Dickensian employee relations. Thanks for the history lesson, but next time maybe you can leave your staff’s dignity intact.
