AS USUAL, I approached the Bruce Street roundabout with fear and trepidation, but today took the biscuit. I was at the crossing and on my left was the funniest sight I have seen in years.
Not one, not two, but eight blokes kitted out in high-viz jackets, hard hats and earmuffs for good measure. Do you know what they were doing? Gazing longingly into a hole in the ground. What engineering genius!
How many men does it take to gaze into a hole in the ground while we sit in the mess they have made in the first place?
Is the Bruce Street roundabout trying to grow itself into the Magic Roundabout? It is as serious as it is funny.
Just wait till it rains for days.
