IN REPLY to the letter from Martin Webb, I can confirm I have compassion, that is compassion for my fellow countrymen.

First the figures he quoted are also wrong, the amount an asylum seeker can claim for his family is £147.50 a week while a paid up OAP gets £116.

Think back to when Labour let the back door open and more than three million immigrants came in, without any check or restraint, now multiply that by £147.50 per week and see what total you get.

Of course the tax fiddles need to be addressed, as the same way as some live.

I notice he never answered the question about the border point and the need to apply at the first port of call.

The point about what we give in International Aid also needs to be looked at and stopped if we are to look after our own,.

I have already said about the soldier who lost three limbs who, after seven months is still in a wheelchair waiting for limbs to be supplied.

The plight of those from other countries is a concern, but so is the poverty level in this country.

Send me your email address Martin, and Ill send you an email about the levels of birth rate and what it means for those who will be still be living in 2026.

As you now see, time after time, when the argument is lost, out comes the racist slant and people question colour etc, did Martin do that when the Olympic games were taken over and athletes killed?

Did he ask that when the Twin Towers were blown up?

Did he do that when the underground was blown up?

Did he do that when Lee Rigby was slaughtered?

Perhaps he thinks the man on the Amsterdam train was being picked on, because of his colour.

Borders are there for a reason, people need to observe them and obey the law of the land.

So please no more ‘ilk’ questions.

Look to your own Martin, they need help.
