MERSEYSIDE prison has been overcharging inmates for having televisions in their prison cells.
They charged £1 per person a week, instead of £1 per cell.
1,400 inmates are to get a rebate of the money that they overpaid.
The news that inmates are enjoying televisions in their cells, is yet more evidence that Britain is soft on crime.
