ON Tuesday, January 19 I watched a press conference from 10 Downing Street involving the new president of the EU and Gordon Brown.
During that televised conference I was shocked to see in full camera shot the EU flag which has been banned under the revised EU Constitution. What was absent was the Union Flag.
I am sure my fellow residents of Swindon would be appalled to learn that a symbol of a Federal States of Europe which we were told had been abandoned should have been on view and the Union Flag nowhere to be seen.
I have written to the Prime Ministers office asking for an explanation.
