SUNDAY, March 14, as we all know was Mother’s Day.
Sunday was also the day the biggest convoy of Motorcyclist`s that anyone can remember in this country rode through Wootton Bassett.
They rode for the charity of Afghan Hero’s, to honour the fallen and show respect to the mothers who had lost sons, they also raised a huge sum of money for this charity.
I was proud to be there and watched the people of this small town show their support for this cause and cheer and clap the riders through the main street.
The Bikers came from hundreds of miles around and I would like to thank them for their support.
Also I would like to thank everyone involved in the organisation side of this event and in particular the Police for their traffic control and general friendliness and understanding towards all the bikers. Thank you.
