I WROTE to Michael Wills MP about the Thames Water call centre jobs in Swindon being transferred abroad to where wages are cheaper, and about the campaigning restrictions that have been imposed on these Thames Water workers.
Michael Wills replied, and seems quite content that Swindon workers should lose their jobs, and that there is nothing anyone can do about it.
MIchael Wills is wrong.
Thames Water supplies drinking water to a huge area of Britain. This is British water, and it is supplied for British people to drink.
Our local MPs should be fighting for British jobs for British workers. These Thames Water call centre jobs must stay in Swindon.
