I SEE that Councillor Cherry is prepared to get his hands dirty. I think he will find that most people want their politicians to have clean hands. Certainly I feel that most people in Swindon would rather see organisations such as Shopmobility, Enterprise Works and Dial a Ride strengthened rather than undermined by the administration he supports.
People in the Parks have yet to see Coun Cherry make good his promise to bring the Reuben George Hall back into use or to find a solution to the ongoing parking problems adjacent to Cavendish Square. It is his party’s administration that is falling short and he has no one else to blame.
