Letter from Mrs Margaret Brown

I THINK it’s dreadful that people are drowning at the water park, it’s not safe to bathe there.

I’m Swindon born and bred and when I was a child my mother said never to go near South Cerney pits as it’s dangerous, it’s gravel and it moves, so you could be on a shallow level, next a very deep level.

I wonder how many people have had near misses, more people need to realise it’s a dangerous place.
