Why doesn’t Swindon Council have large signs strategically placed by the entrances leading to the town centre? Inscribed: CYCLISTS WELCOME!
In small print at the bottom of each sign: This sign has been sponsored by your local anti-social behaviour police unit working hard on your behalf.
Why don’t local complacent council leaders and police chiefs show leadership and act?
Confiscate offenders’ bikes on the spot.
No appeal. Justice done. Before someone is seriously injured.
Failing that, open the road up again and allow ALL traffic through.
Less confusing, don’t you think?
