Death Notice

Frederick William Stuckey

Published on 21/01/2021

STUCKEY Frederick William 'Bill' Bill passed away peacefully in his sleep on 5th January 2021, aged 95 years. A railway man for 35 years then businessman of Highworth until retirement. He was a lovely man with a great and witty sense of humour, still playing piano on his 95th birthday in October, much loved by his 'girls' Ann, Jill and Janette. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all of whom he was so proud. Huge thanks to all at Stanton Lodge for their wonderful care and attention to Bill, and for the laughs, we know he will be missed by staff and residents alike. Due to current lockdown restrictions we regret it will be a private family service and burial at Highworth Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife of an amazing 71 years, Phyllis.

My condolences. I was friends with Jill many years. We had a few laughs, and always remember how kind both of her parents were.

Such a sad loss. Bill was so funny, it was a pleasure to support him. Sleep tight Bill.
