NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 PUBLIC FOOTPATH 10, PARISH OF WROUGHTON ORDER 2019
On 17 July 2019 Swindon Borough Council confirmed the above order.
The effect of the order as confirmed will be to divert the public footpath running from Point A at OS grid ref SU13248266 approx 150m from Mill Lane in a generally NW direction for approx325m through Points B and H to Point C and then in a generally W direction for approx 50m to Point D at OS grid ref SU12988290 and create alternative footpaths
i) from Point A at OS grid ref SU13248266 in a generally NNW direction, then NW and then W direction for approx 70m through Point E to Point B at OS grid ref SU13208271, then continuing in a generally W direction for approx 190m through Point Fto Point G and then in a generally NNW direction for approx 180m to Point D at OS grid ref
ii) from Point H at OS grid ref SU13198272 in a generally SW direction for approx 5m to Point F at OS grid ref SU13188271 as shown on the order map.
A copy of the order and the map may be seen free of charge at Customer Services Reception, Wat Tyler House, Princes Street, Swindon, from 9am to 5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays to Fridays and 9am to 4pm on Tuesdays. The order came into force on the 17 July 2019 but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 8 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
