TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 7 OF SCHEDULE 14

FOOTPATH 5 SOUTH MARSTON ORDER 2016
On 23 November 2016 Swindon Borough Council confirmed the above order.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert a length of Footpath 5 in the parish of South Marston, running from OS grid reference SU19460 86731, 42 metres south of the A420 Shrivenham Road at Lock Cottages, via OS grid reference SU19415 86515 to OS grid reference SU19507 86143, 13 metres north of the footbridge over the River Ray on the Wanbrough Parish boundary, on to a line running from OS grid reference SU19460 86731, via OS grid references SU19412 86700, SU19497 86511 and SU19541 86146 to OS grid reference SU19507 86143.
A copy of the confirmed order and the order map may be seen free of charge at The One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £15.00.
The order comes into force on 6 January 2017, but if a person aggrieved by the order wishes to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.
