SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

1. (TTRO 2807) Goddard Avenue, Swindon

Order made on the 16 August 2017 for temporary Closure to allow resurfacing works and prohibits vehicles from proceeding on the length between Bath Road and Commonweal Road Junction. Traffic will be diverted via Westlecot Road, Springfield Road, Devizes Road and Bath Road. Effective Date - 24 August 2017 for 12 months but works are scheduled to take place over 2 days on the 24 August 2017 and 15 September 2017 from 9:30am to 3:30pm.

2. (TTRO 2808) Sywell Road, Swindon.

Order made on the 16 August 2017 for the temporary closure to allow resurfacing works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on the length between Hadrians Close and Covingham Drive. Traffic will be diverted via Covingham Drive, Merlin Way, Gablecross Rdbt, Oxford Road and Nythe Road. Effective Date - 21 August 2017 for 12 months but works are schedule to take place over 5 days on the 21, 22 and 23 August 2017 and 13 and 14 September 2017 between the time of 9:30am to 3:30pm.

3. (TTRO 2725) Dorcan Way, Swindon

Temporary road to allow resurfacing works and will prohibit vehicle from proceeding on Dorcan Way between The Drive and Edison Road. Traffic will be diverted along Queens Drive and Drakes Way. Effective Date - 4 September 2017 for 6 months but works are scheduled to take place overnight from the 4 to 8 September 2017 between the hours 11pm to 7am.

4. (TTRO 2814) Hodson Road, Chiseldon

Temporary road to allow carriageway patching works and will prohibit vehicle from proceeding on Hodson Road B4005. Traffic will be diverted along New Road, A346 Marlborough Road, A419 Marlborough Road, A4529 Marlborough Road, B4006 Marlborough Road, B4006 Pipers Way, Croft Road, Swindon Road, Moormead Road, Marlborough Road (Wroughton), and B4005 Brimble Hill. Effective Date - 28 August 2017 for 6 months but works are scheduled to take over 3 days from the 28 to 31 August 2017.

5. (TTRO 2805) Maida Vale, Swindon

Temporary road to allow sewer replacement works and will prohibit vehicle from proceeding on Maida Vale. Traffic will be diverted along Mycroft Road. Effective Date - 12 October 2017 for 6 months but works are scheduled to take place on the 12 October 2017 over 1 day only.
