STATUTORY NOTICE
Wiltshire Council Statutory Notice for a proposed enlargement to Priestley Primary School, Prince Charles Drive, Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 8TG.
Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Wiltshire Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Priestley Primary School, Prince Charles Drive, Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 8TG from 1 September 2019.
Wiltshire Council proposes to enlarge the premises of Priestley Primary School by admitting an additional 105 pupils/0.5 Form of Entry (FE) into the Reception year from 1 September 2019. This will be accommodated through building works to provide purpose built new accommodation (subject to planning permission). The current capacity of the school is 210 and the proposed capacity will be 315, an increase of 105 places/0.5 Form of Entry (FE). The work is proposed to complete by 1 September 2019. The October 2017 School Census gave the number of pupils aged 4 to 11 registered at the school as 199. The current admission number for the school is 30 and the proposed admission number in September 2019 will be 45.
It is proposed to permanently increase the Published Admission Number (PAN) from 1 September 2019, when an increase of 15 additional pupils will be admitted into the Reception Year. Up to 45 Reception age pupils will be admitted in each subsequent year. Building work will be undertaken (subject to receipt of planning permission) and the new facilities will be implemented by Wiltshire Council as part of the Capital Programme. The above order was made on 19 April 2018. Orders 1 and 2 - To include a definition of Electric Vehicle being 'a vehicle in which the electrical motive power is fully or partially derived from an electrical storage battery' and a Electric Vehicle charging bay being 'an area of the car park, indicated by appropriate signs & markings, which is provided for the recharging of Electrical Vehicles by means of a Charging post', all electric vehicles using electric vehicle charging bays must park in accordance with pay and display parking and must at all times be connected via a recharging lead to the charging post installed in respect of the parking place.
To include within the articles of the Order that where a parking place has the option to obtain a ticket to cover a period of free parking, only one such ticket may be obtained to cover that vehicle per 24 hours. Order 3 - To amend The County of Wiltshire (Marlborough) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2010 (as amended) as follows; Removing the current interpretation of "permitted hours" and replacement with '"permitted hours" means the hours identified for permitted parking (including parking in a disabled parking bay or in a loading bay area) on the plans attached to this Order'. To change the on street pay and display parking charges to introduce a Sunday charge of £1.00 per visit and to introduce charging on bank holidays of 30 minutes - £0.60, 1hr - £0.90 and 2hrs - £2.10 and by revoking Map Schedule No DH92 dated 26/10/2012 and Map Schedule Nos DI91 and DI92 dated 27/06/2016 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos DH92, DI91 and DI92 to amend the operational hours of the pay and display parking to include Sunday 10am - 4pm. Order 5 - To amend The County of Wiltshire (Devizes) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2017 by revoking Map Schedule EG56 dated 25/09/2017 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule No EG56 to change the days and hours of operation of the residents parking on Victoria Road from Mon-Fri 8am-6pm to Mon-Sat 8am-8pm.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Pedestrian Crossing - A429 Main Road, Corston, St Paul Malmesbury Without
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes the installation of a "PUFFIN" (Pedestrian User-Friendly Intelligent) Crossing, a form of traffic signal-controlled crossing in A429 Main Road, Corston at a point 38 metres north west of its junction with Barnes Close. A copy of the plan showing the location of the crossing may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Norley Lane (Part), Calne Without; for a distance of approximately 70m adjacent to properties 114 - 115 to enable Wessex Water to undertake works to install sluice valve. Alternative route via Norley Lane (unaffected length) - Studley Lane - A4 New Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 25 May 2018. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (b) Cross Lane (Part), Marlborough; from its junction with St. John s Close to its junction with Cardigan Road to enable Wales and West Utilities to install a new gas service. Alternative route via Cross Lane (unaffected length) - Hyde Lane - Cardigan Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days.
