Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The County of Wiltshire (Cemetery Lane, Bradford on Avon) (Prohibition Of Driving) Order 2018
(Previously advertised as 2017) Notice is hereby given that on 29 May 2018 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which to introduce a Prohibition of Driving for all vehicles with an exemption for pedal cycles on Cemetery Lane - from a point 62 metres north west of its junction with B3107 Holt Road for a distance of 154 metres in a north westerly direction. A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 11 June 2018.
Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary Closure of: Various Roads, Lacock and Calne Without (Half Marathon)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all vehicular traffic: (a) C155 (Part) High Street; from its junction with West Street to its junction with The Wharf/Hither Way; (b) C155 (Part) The Wharf; from its junction with High Street to its junction with Bewley Lane; (c) Bewley Lane; from its junction with The Wharf to its junction with Naish Hill; (d) Naish Hill (Part); from its junction with Bewley Lane in a westerly direction to its junction with Mons Lane (Reybridge); (e) Mons Lane (Part); from a point approximately 70m south of its junction with Naish Hill (Reybridge) in a north-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 1km to a point adjacent Great Notton Farm; (f) Nethercote Hill; from its junction with Footpath 15, Lacock to its junction with Church Street; (g) Church Street (Part); from its junction with Nethercote Hill to its junction with East Street; (h) East Street; from its junction with Church Street to its junction with High Street; (i) Naish Hill/Bewley Lane North (Part); from its junction with Bewley Lane in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 1km towards Ash Hill Farm. Alternative route: via A342 - A4 - B4643 Melksham Road - B4528 Showell - A350 and vice versa. These temporary traffic measures are required to safeguard members of the public and competitors whilst enabling the Relish the Great Outdoors Lacock Half Marathon Event to take place. The Order will come into force on Sunday 10 June 2018 with the exception of vehicles officially involved in the event, vehicles being used for ambulance, police or fire brigade purposes, or the purpose of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, or with permission being given by a Police Constable in uniform or a Community Safety (CSAS) accredited marshal. The closures are anticipated to commence at 08:30 and finish at 13:00. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although some delays may be experienced. Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Wine Street, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with B3108 Winsley Road to its junction with Newtown to enable Ringway to carry out footpath widening and associated works. And to temporarily suspend the existing One-Way Order on Wine Street to facilitate local access and egress. Alternative route via B3108 Winsley Road - A363 Bath Road/Masons Lane - Newtown and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 11 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 22 June 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
(a) Westwells, Corsham; from its junction with Westwells Road to its junction with Upper Potley;

(b) Upper Potley (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Westwells to its junction with Shearwater Way to enable Vodafone to install cabling. Alternative route via Moor Green - Moor Barton - Leafield Road - Leafield Way - Upper Potley (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 2 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 16 July 2018. For further information please contact Liam Guinn (John Henry Group) on 07595974555; (c) A4 Bath Road (Part), Chippenham Without and Chippenham; from its junction with Chippenham Road/ Chequers Roundabout to its junction with Methuen Park to enable Ringway to undertake works as part of the A350 highway improvement scheme around Chippenham. Alternative route via A4 (unaffected length) - B4643 - A350 - A365 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 2 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 20.00 and 06.00 until 14 July 2018. Alternative route via A3102 (unaffected length) Eastern Way - Melksham Relief Road - Snowberry Lane - Spa Road - A365 - A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 1 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day.
