WILTSHIRE-based Folio Theatre Company, whose debut show Unearthed was voted one of The Guardian readers’ favourite stage shows of 2015, are back with their new show, the World Premiere of a new play by South-West based writer Sarah Gordon.

Folio, whose Artistic Director is Lizzie Stables, best known for playing Chloe in The Inbetweeners, are producing the play with Wiltshire Creative as Associate Producer.

The Edit is a gripping new play about forgiveness, love and self-preservation - and about discovering who we really are…all over again. Set in real time, an ex-couple review what went wrong in their relationship and whether they could – or should – take another chance on each other.

Jo Newman, associate director at Salisbury Playhouse, says: “Sarah’s writing is engaging, sparky and funny and her plays, whilst having a lot of heart, truthfully explore poignant subject matter”.

Folio Theatre Company is a Wiltshire-based touring company, born from a desire to create exciting stories that celebrate life in the South West, working with exceptional local artists. They are passionate about building a rich and diverse programme of new writing with a particular focus on highlighting contemporary social issues.

Folio have recently been appointed an associate company of English Touring Theatre and are also an Associate Company of Trowbridge Town Hall Arts. Their patron is playwright April De Angelis.
