JENKINS John Charles Sadly passed away at Downsview Care Home on the 27th July 2022, aged 93 years. Devoted husband of Marian (Deceased), beloved father of Peter, Sian and Richard and a treasured Poppa to his grandchildren. John will be dearly missed by all of his family, friends and his colleagues from his time as Deputy Headmaster at Kingsdown School. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at Kingsdown Crematorium on Monday 15th of August at 12:45pm. I am sorry tom of the passing of Mr Jenkins [ Sir] . I was a pupil at Kingsdown 1969-1972 so he was the fierce Deputy Head then. You didnt want ton get on the wrong side of him, if you did it was the dap, the ruler or detention,. But if you were in any of his classes and work well you got on his good side. His guitar playing in assembly was memorable . A great School with fantastic teachers, shame we had to go to Headlands.
