Staff at Goatacre Manor Care Home will meet the public at an open day on June 21.
It is part of a national event to help change public perceptions of care homes.
Royal Wootton Bassett’s town crier will open the event at 10am and North Wiltshire MP James Gray will attend.
Entertainment will include local singer Mike Oakes and the staff are also hoping to book more acts, including a brass band.
Donna Trout, admin manager, said: “Everyone is extremely excited, because there’s so much work going into it. It’s a chance for us to open our doors to the community and it will be nice to meet people from the area.”
The centre will be open from 10am to 4pm. For more about the care home, visit www.goatacre.com
