A drive to set up a business improvement district for Trowbridge was part of a future outlined at the Town Team’s annual meeting.
The group, discussing plans at the Town Hall meeting, debated proposals to set up the business district in conjunction with Trowbridge Town Council.
The idea, to develop relationships between businesses and organisations, is supported by Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce, Trowbridge Initiative, businesses and Wiltshire Council.
Members also discussed the success of the weekly market, launched in March.
Town Team chairman David Baker said: “We will be working with our partners to ensure that the town team market is sustainable through the winter.”
