A VINTAGE toy fair is to return to Swindon at the weekend following its successful first outing in January.

Organised by local collector and enthusiast Ronnie Davies, the fair will bring together vintage toy lovers from all across the country.

Ronnie said: “The first one we held in January was a great success. It was very well supported by local people and we want to build on that this time round.”

There will be a huge mixture of toys on offer from dealers specialising in Lego to Star Wars and Action Men.

There will also be a chance for people to bring their own vintage wares to have them valued by experts.

“I am a bit nervous because we have to set up on the day this time – but we will get it done,” said an excited Ronnie.

The event will be held at the County Ground on Sunday, March 11. Parking is free and doors open from 8am for early bird entry and then from 10am until 2.15pm, with entrance at £2.50.

Ronnie added: “It was very well received in January. The place was packed with around 500 people turning up, so we are hoping for similar numbers this time.”
