A WARMINSTER landlord has thanked customers and staff at the Organ Inn as they celebrate raising more than £50,000 for charity in the 11 years since they started trading.

They were also presented with the Campaign for Real Ale 2018 rural pub of the year award for the Bath and borders region.

The award recognises hard work and and dedication in rural pubs.

Since opening, the pub has held many skittle and quiz fundraiser nights for its chosen charity.

The Organ Inn’s landlord, Daniel Keene said: “We are very pleased to have got this award and to have helped raised so much money for so many different charities.

“It has been a great achievement for myself and my amazing team.

“We couldn’t have done it without the help and support of all our customers, friends and families.

“The other bonus with us getting this award is that it puts Warminster on the map for having a couple of great Real Ale pubs in the area.”
