PASSENGERS of Swindon Bus Company can expect to see a show of support for England in the World Cup when they buy their tickets.

The tickets are being printed with a St George’s cross with ‘Come on England!’ at the top of them.

And on days when England are playing, bus users can travel with them at the cost of a child DayRider... as long as they’re wearing an England shirt.

Alex Chutter, general manager of Swindon Bus Company, said: “We know many of our customers are fully behind the England team, and we want to show our support too. Already, the team has represented our country brilliantly - and we’re willing the lads to go all the way to the final.

“We’re sending a special message to England on our bus tickets whilst the tournament is running, and we hope those who travel with us will join us as we cheer the team on over the coming week or so.

“Today’s match will be a big challenge, but we’re hoping for a win against Sweden. And then…who knows? Watching the game with friends and family is all part of the fun.

“Whatever happens, this has already been an amazing World Cup. We’re thrilled to be sharing our love of the beautiful game, and of our country, with our customers. It’s coming home!”
