FIRE and rescue crews from North and West Wiltshire have had a busy day so far with three incidents handled in Potterne, Marlborough and Chippenham.
In the latest incident, at 12.39pm, a crew from Devizes rescued a three-year-old girl who had become locked in a bathroom at a house in St Mary's Close, Potterne.
The crew arrived quickly on scene and used small tools to gain access to the bathroom and release the girl.
In Marlborough at 10.51am, a crew from Pewsey was mobilised to alarms sounding at a house in St Martins but found it was a false alarm due to a system fault.
At 9.45am, a crew from Chippenham assisted a man in Hardens Mead whose home was affected by flooding.
