A LITTER pick will be carried out in Pinehurst next week.
Volunteers can meet up in front of the the Pinetrees Community Centre on Sunday October 28 from 10am to 1pm.
Children must be supervised by responsible adults and all should bring suitable gloves and sensible clothes, and be prepared for all weathers.
Swindon Climate Action Network has organised the litter pick with RSPCA North Wiltshire as part of the Plastic Free Swindon campaign.
They will make it a regular event.
A spokesman for the group said: "Litter picks are a good way to reduce the harm that our waste causes wildlife, making the local area a nicer place, having some fun and meeting some nice people along the way.
"Hope to see you for a fun, friendly, positive day."
