SCORES of people who are opposed to Brexit, or who want another vote on the matter have signed up to travel from Swindon to London for a major march on Saturday.

The group Swindon For Europe has organised a double decker coach, and there are many more people on the waiting list for travel places.

Activist with the group Sam Hollings said: "We had originally booked a smaller coach, then upgraded to a double decker. We're trying to organise another one, but so many coaches have been booked up that it's difficult to get to."

Sam said the group are very happy with the level of support shown by the town.

He added: "We do a lot of work with Bath for Europe, who are better supported than us. They're sending seven coaches I think. But there was a big march in the summer, and we didn't send a coach at all. People jump on the train form Swindon, and there's National Express at all. So for us to have a full double decker and more people wanting to come is really pleasing."

Sam said: "When we're campaigning in town we get a lot of people coming up saying they're very worried at how Brexit is going and how it will affect us all. Many more people are really concerned."
