In the vast and snowy wastes of Russia stories, legends and myths flourish. Love, betrayal, jealousy, anger, magic and romance are the backbone of The Russian State Ballet and Opera’s latest visit to Swindon with their classical renditions of Swan Lake and Giselle. Directed and choreographed by Konstantin Uralsky, who was a Bolshoi Ballet Soloist, the ballet comes to the Wyvern Theatre on October 25 at 7.30pm. Producer Alexaj Ignatow said: “We are constantly on the lookout for new challenges to ensure that our opera and ballet audiences get a chance to experience a wide spectrum of vairous classic pieces.’’ Tickets are from £34 - £37 on 01793 524481 or visit www.swindontheatres.co.uk
