A MAN and woman who are said to be in breach of a council enforcement notice are to face trial by judge and jury.
Nicholas and Alison Bennett are accused of failing to comply with the order relating to land at Frome Road in Southwick.
It is said that they used the area for storage of vehicles, plant, machinery and scrap metals.
Alison, 47, and Nicholas, 51, each pleaded not guilty to failing to comply with an enforcement notice when they appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
It is said that between April 10-July 18 this year they did not comply with the order, imposed on August 9, 2016 and effective from a month later and to be complied with by March 2017.
Judge Robert Pawson adjourned the case to January 10 and released the pair, of Silver Grove, Trowbridge, on unconditional bail.
