HOUSEBUILDER David Wilson Homes Southern has raised over £30,000 so far for its chosen charity of the year, Prospect Hospice, following a recent sports dinner.

The charity sports dinner was hosted recently at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre when guests included former professional rugby players Neil Back, Simon Shaw and Zinzan Brooke.

Staff at David Wilson Homes Southern have also been working hard to raise vital funds for the Swindon-based charity throughout the year with a dress down day and various in-house raffles and are delighted with the sum raised.

The final total will also include a £15,000 donation by parent company Barratt Developments.

Paul Crispin, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “We are delighted to announce that we have managed to raise over £30,000 so far for our charity of the year, Prospect Hospice.

“As a leading housebuilder we understand the importance of supporting charities and communities and strive to give back wherever we can.

“It is a pleasure to be able to support the vital work being carried out by the team and the work they do for people with life-limiting illnesses is very admirable.

“Prospect Hospice was chosen as our charity of the year in January and since then our staff have been working to raise funds for the cause, with the main event being a sports charity dinner.”
