2 Neon Dance is a production inspired by artist/architect duo Arakawa and Madeline Gins. Tonight, dance fans will have a treat in store as Puzzle Creature comes to Swindon. The show combines dance, immersive set design and a surround sound score. The audience will occupy the same space as the performers and the three dance artists drive the performance with wearable body sculptures from Ana Rajcevic creating curious imprints of choreographed action. 3 Young astronomers will be reaching for the sky tonight at Swindon Stargazers Astronomy Talk, from 7.30pm, in Liddington Village Hall, Church Road, Liddington, Swindon. Join Swindon Stargazers, Swindon's local amateur astronomy club for an astronomy talk on Exoplanets and the Search for Life by Dr Robin Clegg. Followed by tea/ coffee then a Sky Brief on what you might see in the night's sky in the coming month. Aimed at beginners to those with some knowledge - all are welcome. Children are also welcome when accompanied by an adult, but probably most suitable for older secondary school children with an interest in astronomy. It is free entry. 4 British urban rap artist, Tinchy Stryder, is heading down to Swindon for this year's Big Christmas Lights Switch On tomorrow. inSwindon BID are hosting the free Festival of Lights which is its largest Christmas campaign to date running. The festival kicks off with the annual light switch. X Factor star Jahmene Douglas will be returning to his home town for the event. The main stage will kick off from 5pm in Wharf Green, and will feature local performers including The Voice Kids finalist 2018 Lilia Slattery, Swindon’s Tap Attack from Britain's Got Talent 2018, Phoebe Maddison from The Voice Kids 2018, Swindon’s Got Talent winner, Nathaniel Parker and Swindon Dance. Ben & Mel's Heart FM presenters along with Jack Frost will host the show and there will be a fireworks grand finale. Christmas Characters & festive market will be in town from 2pm. It is free entry. 5 Oh What A Night is and evening of music showcasing the talented students of Everybody Sing under the direction of Sophie Haynes, the musical director and principal of the school, whose patron is Maureen Nolan. The young stars, including singer/songwriter Rob Richings' sister Sophie Richings, will be accompanied by Mr Geoff Walters. 6 Little ones will get a chance to meet Father Christmas at the Christmas Charity Fayre, in Christ Church, Cricklade Street, Old Town, Swindon, tomorrow from 10am. The Friends of Christ Church have organised this annual event where local charities and community organisations have stalls to raise funds. The Mayor of Swindon will open the event and Christ Church handbell ringers will perform. The Christ Church Choir will sing at 2.30pm. There are refreshments on sale and the fair is free entry.

7 Christmas Festival begins tomorrow from 10am, at Roves Farm, Sevenhampton, Swindon. The first Roves Farm Christmas Craft and Food Fair is set to kick start the festive period with a weekend showcasing the best food from the farm shop and butchery as well as a selection of gifts from local designer-makers. With twinkling Christmas lights and locally sourced seasonal food and drink it’s a great festive day out for all the family. 8 Festival of Light at Longleat Safari Park tomorrow has stunning Chinese lanterns to light up the safari park. Families begin their fantastic voyage, a thrilling expedition around the world, journeying through time and space with explorers, Harry and Bea, a plucky brother and sister, and their fearless terrier companion, Monty, as part of the festival. Families and the story heroes discover wondrous scenes, from the exotic to the glacial, filled with astonishing creatures, magnificent scenery, stunning structures and sensational modes of transportation. The family can embark on an epic adventure through the winter safari in Wolf Wood, Tiger Territory, Jungle Kingdom or jump aboard the Jungle Cruise and even get hands on with some of the residents in the animal handling hall. It's all aboard for the North Pole for a trip on the Santa Train. Journey past the stunning Half-Mile Lake before disembarking at North Pole Halt; an enchanting snow-covered winter wonderland, but don’t linger too long, Father Christmas is waiting in his grotto. 9 On Sunday, families can have a day out learning all about outdoor cookery from 11am at Stanton Park, The Avenue, Stanton Fitzwarren, Swindon. Join the Ranger Team for a spot of lunch at Cooking In Nature where you learn how to cook on wood fired kelly-kettles, open fire and clay ovens. Meet at the Farmhouse, at Stanton Park. The event is suitable for all ages but wear old clothes to suit the weather. It is also suitable for dogs and wheelchair users but not vegans. Tickets are £3 from 01793 490150.

10 MF Dance kicks off on Sunday from 5.30pm at the Wyvern Theatre, Theatre Square, Swindon. MF Dance began by Matt Fiddes is putting on a special show with songs from popular films and TV programmes. The production includes talented dancers from MF Dance classes such as Mini Streetz for children three to six, Junior Streetz for young ones aged seven to 11 and Teen Streetz which runs two levels of Commercial Street & Hip Hop Dance Courses.
