ACCESS to Trowbridge Minor Injury Unit is being changed temporarily because of a refurbishment scheme.

Visitors to the Minor Injury Unit at Trowbridge Community Hospital are being asked to use the main entrance off Adcroft Street from Monday, not Seymour Road.

Emma Bye, of Wiltshire Health and Care, said: “The necessary improvements to the hospital building include a canopy over the Seymour Road entrance and replacement windows in the MIU.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but please note that weekend and out of hours access will not be affected.”

The Seymour Road entrance will be closed from MondayNovember 19 to Friday, November 23, from 7am to 5pm and again from Monday, November 26 to Wednesday, November 28 from 7am to 5pm.

Services will not be affected.

Ambulances will use the ambulance bay near the Adcroft Street exit.

Between Tuesday, November 20 and Thursday, November 22, from 7am to 5pm, the MIU waiting room will be moved into the corridor and outpatient waiting room.

Signs will be in place to redirect people and staff will be on hand to help.
