SANTA Claus has settled in his grotto and is checking his list to see who has been naughty or nice this year.

Here is all you need to know about where you can visit him in Swindon during the run up to his big night.

n The McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Christmas grotto has a special show for this festive season, along with and enchanted sleigh and several food stalls. Every 30 minutes snow will transform the grotto into a winter wonderland as it falls from the top of the dome. Entry costs £10 per child and tickets can be bought in advance via

Children visiting St Nick this year will plant a magic bean and marvel as he transforms it into a real mini Christmas tree, which they can decorate and take home. And Santa will make sure all children receive a special present ahead of the big day.

n At the Brunel Centre, the grotto is open every day until Christmas Eve from noon.

There will be an opportunity for little ones to be able to have breakfast with Father Christmas every Saturday.

Tickets are £4 per child. Santa’s Post Office will also be open for children to write and send their letters to the North Pole.

Elf School will also be running on Sundays where children can enjoy an hour-long fun and games session, learning the elf commandments and earning themselves an elf graduation ceremony.

n Roves Farm Visitor Centre in Sevenhampton promises its biggest and best celebration yet, with Christmas activities every weekend until the last one before Christmas.

Prices for the weekend event are £10 for children aged under three, £13 for three and over and £7 for adults. Admission includes a gift from Santa and activities including farm tours and the chance to take part in a Nativity play. Visit

n Wyevale Garden Centres are hosting breakfast or tea with Santa. Every child will get to meet Santa in his grotto and receive a present from the man himself.

Tickets cost £10.95 per child or £5 for adults and will run until Christmas Eve.

n Westonbirt Arboretum’s Enchanted Christmas light spectacle has an illuminated trail of interactive displays every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until December 23.
