TRUSTEES and volunteers from the Trowbridge Community Area Future held a Christmas party in the Shires on Monday where they discussed te launch of their new kindness cafe.
The new cafe which will open on January 12 will be a support and share meet up group where older residents of Trowbridge will have the opportunity to meet others. They will also hear from a number of local organisations who can support them with independent living and other wellbeing needs.
Trowbridge Mayor councillor Dennis Drewitt also attended the gathering and presented gifts to long serving volunteers, thanking them for their hard work.
Hub at BA14 manager Zoe Meaden said: "We are proud of the service that we offer to the community and it is great to meet so many of the lovely people of Trowbridge and to be able to connect them with the vast array of local services on offer to them. We are looking forward to the opening of the kindness café."
