A WORKING group could be set up to investigate ways to improve and develop the use of the Calne Recreation Ground.
Calne Town Council will discuss the idea at a meeting at the Town Hall at 7pm on Monday.
The Recreation Ground was opened in 1891 with money provided by the Harris family and is now owned by the town council, which leases the pavilion, bowling green, Potters Field and public toilets to the Rec Club. According to the report, for number of years, the site has remained stagnant and underutilised and it now needs a future vision. The report recommends that a new working group be formed to discuss future possibilities.
