THE new owers of a fitness club in Trowbridge have been amazed by the amount of donations made towards their recent collection for Storehouse food bank.
Members of ladies exercise club, FitHer You , formerly Curves based at Stone Mill have been donating non perishable food and toiletries.
Collections were also made for Smalls For All, a Scottish charity which collects and distributes underwear to help women and children in Africa.
Staff and Parents at St Michael's pre-school in Hilperton also supported the collection, enabling over 200 bras and 60 new pairs of pants to be sent.
Over 100 pairs of spectacles were also collected for distribution to eye camps overseas.
Alison Wriggleworth from FitHer You said: "We were so pleased to receive so many donations, and the staff at Storehouse food bank were delighted to receive two large trollies full of goods, which were pushed through the town by staff and members of FitHer You."
